The Spanish convoy from Spain loaded with Munitions for
George Washington's Continental Army is arriving at Havana to be unloaded to
waiting small fast American blockade runners.
The convoy was intercepted by a blockading British fleet.
Senior Captain Charles Corona Drunkenly plowed the
Spanish convoy into Havana. Six of the Eight Munitions ships made it in and
they captured a British 44 along the way. A Spanish Victory. |
